Frustrated by the exclusive and stereotypical portrayal of women in media, Chloe founded Keke Magazine in 2017 as a counter-narrative and a safe space. As the Editor-in-Chief, she edits and publishes content related to female empowerment including interviews, news pieces, op-eds, and art series. She produces the magazine’s annual print issue and biweekly online content (100+ articles a year). Keke Magazine also houses the first-ever free online Zine Library and has an online shop that sells merchandise such as pins and zines.
Keke Magazine has been featured in various publications, such as Fashionista, Women’s Media Center, and Washington Square News. Chloe was invited to Purdue University in March 2020 to speak about her work with her magazine and the importance of an inclusive media space.
